Gallery templates display multiple image thumbnails on a page that a user can click to enlarge. There are a few different types of gallery templates:

  1. Image grid gallery 
    Displays all images in a 3 column grid. When clicked, the images are enlarged and displayed in a popup slider.
  2. Product gallery (This article)
    Displays a 3 column grid of image cards with titles, descriptions, pricing, etc. When clicked, the product is enlarged in a popup that reveals more information. Optionally, you can include multiple photos of the product to showcase different variations or styles. Online purchasing is not available.
  3. Video gallery (coming soon)


Note: Gallery templates are solely dedicated to showcasing multiple photos, products for sale, videos, art, or a group of images that need to be enlarged on the screen. If you need other content on the page, use the 'photo gallery' component in our other templates, instead.




Editing the product gallery page

  1. Contact a web administrator to activate your gallery template if you need one created.
  2. Click the Edit button on the top right of the screen
  3. Type in the page title
  4. Upload/select a banner image or use the default photo (photo of campus)
  5. Gallery type: Select the "Product Gallery" radio button
  6. "Page introduction" editor: If you want to have text content above your gallery you can enter content here
  7. Gallery item (A single product)
    1. Open the Gallery Item widget to add a product
    2. Enter information about this product
      • Product title
      • Sub title (optional)
      • Price (Note: online purchasing is not available)
      • Contact email (optional) will add a link about who to contact to purchase the item
      • Sold: If the item is sold check this box. If not, leave it unchecked to display the price.
      • More information about the product: Type some details into this content editor if you need to add more info.

    3. Product Image Slider: Add photos of your product
      • Upload at least one photo of your product into this section, or select an image you already uploaded to your site. (Make sure your images are uploaded to the images folder)
      • You can add more photos by clicking the green plus + icon
      • The first image is used as the thumbnail in the grid
      • You can reorder photos by clicking the arrows on the Product Image Slider widgets
  8. To add another product, click the green plus icon on the "Gallery Item" widget for more items. Repeat step 7.
  9. You can remove a product by clicking the red X icon on the "Gallery Item" widget.
  10. You can reorder products by clicking the arrow icons on the "Gallery Item" widgets.

  11. Click the green plus icon to add another gallery item and repeat step 7 for your next image
  12. Preview Draft to see your changes
  13. Submit to save your changes to Cascade
  14. Publish your changes to the live site
