Cascade users are able to access the software from off-campus computers. To do so, you must be a current Cascade user AND have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled.
Once MFA is enabled you can access Cascade simply by clicking on the Cascade icon in MAVzone. You may be prompted for the MFA, like you would to log in to Office 365. Other than the MFA prompt (which you can limit to once every 30 days) Cascade comes up and works as if you were on-campus.
Find more information on MFA, and enable it for your account, under the ‘Personal’ section on the My Account tab in MAVzone.
This process is for off-campus use and will not work for laptops connected to CMU wireless.
